Surf at Jæren, Norway: In before the Storm

It was the last evening before the first real storm of the season was supposed to hit Jæren. Even though it was a windy evening, it was nothing compared to what was supposed to hit us the following day.

Naturally we had to say hello to the ocean, and the ocean welcomed us.

We found shelter from the wind at one of the many spots of Jæren, and gave it a go for an hour or so.

Camera settings

Short on time I decided to go all manual. It was late in the day, kind of overcast, no rain but some sun light inbetween before darkness hitting.

I hoped for some close action and fixed the 8-15mm at 15mm and fitted it inside the dome port. I set the aperture to F/5.6, shutter speed to 1/1000, and did a somewhat high ISO 800.

All good for a quick session.

ATTN! Runa is back!

Good to see Runa back at Jæren after doing stuff some other place than here.
